This is the journey this whole site exists to serve: all seven churches of Revelation — Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamon, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea — visited in the exact order of the letters, the loop a first-century courier once walked.
You travel privately, with a licensed English-speaking guide and a comfortable vehicle, staying two nights on the route. At each site the letter to that church is read where it was first heard — the detail our guests remember longest.

Itinerary
Ephesus & Smyrna
Morning in ancient Ephesus — the theatre of Acts 19, the Library of Celsus, Curetes Street — then the Basilica of Saint John on Ayasuluk Hill. Afternoon drive to İzmir for the agora of Smyrna, the church that never died. Overnight in İzmir.
Pergamon & Thyatira
North to Bergama and the cable car up the Pergamon acropolis — the steep theatre, the Temple of Trajan and the foundations of the Altar of Zeus, “where Satan’s throne is.” Return via the quiet ruins of Thyatira at Akhisar. Overnight in Salihli or İzmir.
Sardis & Philadelphia
The Marble Court and great synagogue of Sardis under the old acropolis cliff, then the Temple of Artemis with its two standing columns. On to Alaşehir, where the Byzantine pillars of Philadelphia still stand — the pillar the letter promised. Overnight near Pamukkale.
Laodicea & Hierapolis
Morning among the rising marble streets of Laodicea — including the calcium-crusted pipes behind the famous “lukewarm” image — with Pamukkale gleaming across the valley. Time at Hierapolis and the travertines before the return drive.

Questions about this tour
Is four days enough for all seven churches?
Yes — four days is the comfortable standard: roughly two sites a day in the order of the letters, without early starts or rushed visits. Three days is possible but hurried; five adds Pamukkale time or a rest day.
Can the tour start from Istanbul?
Yes. Most guests fly Istanbul → İzmir in the morning (about an hour) and we begin the tour from İzmir airport. We can also plan the reverse, ending at the airport for your flight back.
Is this suitable for church groups?
Very much so — it is our most requested group itinerary. We arrange coaches for larger groups, and time for devotions or readings at each site is built in willingly.
